March 14, 2012 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., March 14, 2012 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall, Council Member Moore presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Moore, Hatloe, Nielsen, and <br /> Affholter were present. Council Members Roberts, Gipson and <br /> Stonecipher were excused. <br /> Council Member Affholter led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 7, 2012 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comment. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Nielsen commented that he attended the National <br /> League of Cities Conference, and that he would make a report in that <br /> regard at a future meeting. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles had no comment. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Ralph Jackson, Everett, asked for the status of the replacement project <br /> for the Broadway bridge over the railroad tracks. <br /> Dave Davis, Public Works, stated that the project is ongoing. It is on track <br /> for bidding at the end of this year or early next year with construction in <br /> 2013 to 2014. <br /> 63 <br />
