August 6, 2014 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., August 6, 2014, in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall, President Moore presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Gipson, Bader, <br /> and Anderson were present. Council Member Stonecipher was excused <br /> and Council Member Murphy was expected to be a few minutes late. <br /> Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 30, 2014, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson reported that last evening's National Night Out Against <br /> Crime events were a great success. He thanked citizens, staff, and <br /> neighborhood leaders for their participation. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Members Bader, Murphy, Roberts, and Moore reported that they <br /> enjoyed the National Night Out activities and thanked the neighborhood <br /> leaders and city departments for their involvement. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the Sound Transit <br /> Board Retreat on July 31, 2014. <br /> Council Member Moore announced topics for upcoming City Council <br /> briefings as follows: <br /> August 13, 2014 2015 budget development, part 2 <br /> City website redevelopment <br /> Update on Legion Park <br /> August 20, 2014 Crime statistics <br /> 214 <br />
