is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Permit—Fees. <br /> The original and annual renewal permit fee for any act requiring a permit shall be <br /> ten dollars. <br /> Section 6: Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1041-84, as amended by section 3 of <br /> Ordinance No. 1146-85 (EMC 16.60.060), which reads as follows: <br /> Permit—Application investigation. <br /> A. The city's fire marshal or designee upon receiving an application for a permit <br /> under Section 16.60.030A shall investigate the application and submit a report of <br /> findings and recommendation for or against the issuance of the permit,together <br /> with reasons to the city council. <br /> B. The city's fire marshal or designee shall investigate whether the character and <br /> location of the display as proposed would be hazardous to property or dangerous <br /> to any person. Based on the investigation, the fire marshal or designee shall <br /> submit a report of findings and a recommendation for or against the issuance of <br /> the permit with reasons to the city council. The city's fire marshal or designee upon receiving an application for a permit <br /> under Section 16.60.030.0 for a public display of fireworks shall investigate <br /> whether the character and location of the display as proposed would be hazardous <br /> to property or dangerous to any person. Based on the investigation,the fire <br /> marshal or designee shall submit a report of findings and a recommendation for or <br /> against the issuance of the permit with reasons to the city council.
