2014 <br /> Budget Adjustments <br /> Tally Sheet <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-4 Police Amendment-Traffic Safety Grant 031A 2,500 <br /> GGA-4 General Fund Amendment-Traffic Safety Grant 002A 2,500 <br /> The Washington State Traffic Safety Commission(WTSC)is providing additional funding for Snohomish <br /> County law enforcement agencies to conduct high visibility enforcement(HVE)traffic safety emphasis patrols <br /> in support of Target Zero Team priorities. The existing memorandum of understanding(MOU)with the <br /> Washington Traffic Safety Commission sets forth the requirements of the Everett Police Department to <br /> participate in the project and receive the allotted funding. Amendment#1 to the MOU provides an additional <br /> $2,500 in overtime funding for the purpose of conducting distracted driving HVE patrols. <br /> Council authorized the Mayor to sign amendment#1 to the MOU at the March 26,2014,Council meeting. <br /> Increase grant revenue 002 3332060131 2,500 <br /> Increase overtime 031 5220000120 2,500 <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-5 Police Amendment-Homeland Security Grant 031A 33,092 <br /> GGA-5 General Fund Amendment-Homeland Security Grant 002A 33,092 <br /> The U.S.Department of Homeland Security(DHS),Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA)is <br /> providing funds to enhance the capability of state and local units of government to make measurable <br /> progress towards the achievement of the National Preparedness Guidelines including the acquirement of <br /> specialty equipment by emergency responders. This grant provides for the purchase of a tactical robot for <br /> the Snohomish County/Everett Police Department Region One SWAT team.
