ORDINANCE NO. 2740-03 AN ORDINANCE creating the Special Improvement Projects entitled, "Wetmore Avenue Improvement Project," Fund 303, Program 052, and "Hoyt Avenue Improvement Project," Fund 303, Program 053, to accumulate all costs for the improvement and repealing Ordinance No. 2593-02 WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned street and road improvement program; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and received a two Federal grants for the conversion of Wetmore and Hoyt Avenues from one way to two-way streets; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: Two special improvement projects are hereby established as Fund 303, Program 052, entitled "Wetmore Avenue Improvement Project," and Fund 303, Program 053, entitled "Hoyt Avenue Improvement Project," to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance No. 2593-02. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 052, and Program 053, for the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director," under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of $1,768,361.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 052, "Wetmore Avenue Improvement Project," and Program 053 "Hoyt Avenue Improvement Project," as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Wetmore Avenue Improvement Project—Program 052 Design $ 54,291.00 Construction 1,006,211.00 Total Estimated Cost $ 1,060,503.00 Hoyt Avenue Improvement Project—Program 053 Design $ 50,608.00 Construction 657,250.00 Total Estimated Cost $ 707,858.00
