6. Fire Hydrants and standpipes: The general fund of the City shall pay for hydrant usage, <br /> including transmission and distribution mains, storage facilities and water used for fire <br /> suppression. Charge - $5,000 monthly. <br /> 7. a. City installed service connection charges: <br /> 5/8 x 3/4 inch $1,115.00 each <br /> 1 inch $1,540.00 <br /> 2 inch $2,400.00 <br /> b. New construction using an existing flat rate service and changing to a 5/8 x 3/4 <br /> Inch metered service shall be charged $700.00 <br /> c. Service connection installations larger than the two-inch size shall be charged <br /> at the actual cost of the complete installation <br /> d. Said charges include a$64 non-refundable application fee. Service connection <br /> applications shall be valid only for 180 days from date of issue unless work is in <br /> progress or a reasonable time extension is granted by the Utilities <br /> Superintendent. Service connection charges (less said non-refundable <br /> application fee) may be refunded to the applicant in the event that refund is <br /> requested within one year from the date of issue. <br /> e. Developer installed connection charges: <br /> 5/8 x 3/4 inch $400.00 each <br /> 1 inch $465.00 <br /> 2 inch $825.00 <br /> 8. Special Charges: <br /> a. Turn-on for restart of service $16.00 each <br /> b. Shut-off requested for premises where customer's $38.00 each <br /> stop and waste valve should have been used <br /> c. Turn-on and shut-off requested for a time other than $106.00 per call out <br /> regular hours <br /> d. Meter testing: All meters regardless of size in shop <br /> testing with 1 hour minimum $106.00 per hour <br /> Using meter test van with 3-hour minimum $318.00 per hour <br /> e.
