October 15, 2014 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING — COUNCIL BILL NO. 1409-46 <br /> President Moore opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill No. <br /> 1409-46, a proposed ordinance modifying and renewing interim zoning <br /> regulations related to recreational marijuana businesses. <br /> President Moore invited public comment. <br /> Eugene Elfrank, Everett, spoke regarding the 2500 foot restriction for <br /> marijuana retailers and asked City Council to consider removal of this <br /> restriction. <br /> Jamie Curtismith, Everett, commented on the current restrictions related to <br /> Tier 2 and Tier 3 in the proposed interim zoning regulations and implored <br /> City Council to consider the creation of a task force and the removal of the <br /> tier restrictions. <br /> Jessica Jordan, Everett, commented on the current restrictions related to <br /> Tier 2 and Tier 3 in the proposed interim zoning regulations and asked <br /> City Council to consider removal of this restriction. <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br /> Bader, to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Roberts and Gipson who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO. 1409-46 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE modifying and renewing interim zoning <br /> regulations related to recreational marijuana businesses <br /> 285 <br />
