October 22, 2014 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., October 22, 2014 in the City Council Chambers of the William <br /> E. Moore Historic City Hall, President Moore presiding. Upon roll call it <br /> was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, and Anderson were present. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 15, 2014 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. Council Members Roberts and Gipson abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Anderson reported on his attendance at the Green <br /> Everett Day Work Party at Thornton Sullivan Park last Saturday. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated that he attended the Seattle Chambers <br /> Regional Leadership Conference last week. He provided the council <br /> members with a copy of "the Five Megatrends" and the Puget Sound <br /> Clean Air Agency's 2014-2020 Strategic Plan. He remarked that he and <br /> other members of the Association of Washington Cities met with Governor <br /> Inslee on Thursday to talk about the upcoming session and issues <br /> associated with shared revenue. He also visited with the Planning <br /> Commission last night as they moved forward with the climate element of <br /> their work. He commended the Planning staff for their work on a <br /> background report for the issue. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The City Attorney had no comments. <br /> 288 <br />
