After the work is complete, Contractor shall <br /> 12 backfilled and compacted with native materials. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 8-34.2 Vacant <br /> 15 <br /> 16 8-34.3 Construction Requirements ! <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Contractor shall contact "Call Before You Dig" prior to all construction activity. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Contractor shall expose buried utilize by either air or water pressure vacuum method to <br /> 21 break up the soil and a vacuum device to collect the loosened debris. Contractor shall <br /> 22 protect exposed utilities throughout the duration of the project..Appropriate sediment <br /> 23 controls shall be implemented to prevent pollution and erosion. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 The Contractor is responsible for disposing of any drilling residue or remaining spoil in <br /> 26 accordance to Section 2-03.3(7)C. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 8-34.4 Measurement <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Contractor shall excavate up pit, as approved by the Engineer. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 The hours eligible for the "Pothole-Vacuum" pay item shall be actual time spent on <br /> 33 operating the air/water excavator for exposing, and backfilling the buried utility for each <br /> 34 person engaged in the activity.
