I <br /> I <br /> 1 This Record Drawing set shall be used for this purpose alone, shall be kept separate <br /> I 2 from other Plan sheets, and shall be clearly marked as Record Drawings. These Record <br /> 3 Drawings shall be kept on site at the Contractor's field office, and shall be available for <br /> 4 review by the Contracting Agency at all times. The Contractor shall bring the Record <br /> I5 Drawings to each progress meeting for review. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 The preparation and upkeep of the Record Drawings is to be the assigned responsibility <br /> 8 of a single, experienced, and qualified individual. The quality of the Record Drawings, in <br /> 1 9 terms of accuracy, clarity, and completeness, is to be adequate to allow the Contracting <br /> 10 Agency to modify the computer-aided drafting (CAD) Contract Drawings to produce a <br /> 1 complete set of Record Drawings for the Contracting Agency without further investigative <br /> Ii 12 effort by the Contracting Agency. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 The Record Drawing markups shall document all changes in the Work, both concealed <br /> I 15 and visible. Items that must be shown on the markups include but are not limited to: <br /> 16 <br /> 17 • Actual dimensions, arrangement, and materials used when different than shown in <br /> I 18 the Plans. <br /> 19 • Changes made by Change Order or Field Order. <br /> 20 • Changes made by the Contractor. <br /> 21 • Accurate locations of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water mains and other water <br /> 22 appurtenances, structures, conduits, light standards, vaults, width of roadways, <br /> 23 sidewalks, landscaping areas, building footprints, channelization and pavement <br /> I 24 markings, etc. Include pipe invert elevations, top of castings (manholes, inlets, <br /> 25 etc.). <br /> 26 <br /> 27 If the Contract calls for the Contracting Agency to do all surveying and staking, the <br /> I 28 Contracting Agency will provide the elevations at the tolerances the Contracting Agency <br /> 29 requires for the Record Drawings. <br /> 30 <br /> II 31 When the Contract calls for the Contractor to do the surveying/staking, the applicable <br /> 32 tolerance limits include, but are not limited to the following: <br /> Vertical Horizontal <br /> IAs-built sanitary & storm invert and ± 0.01 foot ± 0.01 foot <br /> grate elevations <br /> 111 As-built monumentation ± 0.001 foot ± 0.001 foot <br /> As built waterlines, inverts, valves, ± 0.10 foot ± 0.10 foot <br /> hydrants <br /> V As-built ponds/swales/water features ± 0.10 foot ± 0.10 foot <br /> As-built buildings (fin. Floor elev.) ± 0.01 foot ± 0.10 foot <br /> As-built gas lines, power, TV, Tel, Com ± 0.10 foot ± 0.10 foot <br /> As-built signs, signals, etc. N/A ± 0.10 foot <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Making Entries on the Record Drawings: <br /> I 35 <br /> 36 • Use erasable colored pencil (not ink) for all markings on the Record Drawings, <br /> 37 conforming to the following color code: <br /> I38 • Additions - Red <br /> I 4151 STREET TO WMVD FREIGHT <br /> CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS <br /> FED AID#STPUL-9931(012);PW#3472 SP-29 February 10,2016 <br />
