• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2754-04 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br /> "Railway Avenue BNSF Crossing," Fund 303. Program 059, to <br /> accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing <br /> Ordinance No. 25 98-02. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned traffic and safety improvement <br /> program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and received a Federal grant for the <br /> design and construction of railroad crossing safety improvements; and <br /> NOW. THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 059, entitled <br /> "Railway Avenue BNSF Crossing," to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and <br /> repealing Ordinance No. 2598-02. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 059, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director," under direction <br /> of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all <br /> things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of $170,916.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 059, "Railway Avenue <br /> BNSF Crossing," as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design $ 5,360.00 <br /> Construction $ 165,556.00 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 170.916.00 <br />
