June 6, 2012 <br /> Dr. Gary Goldbaum, Snohomish Health District, gave a brief presentation <br /> in support of adding fluoride to the city's water system. <br /> James Robert Deal, Lynnwood, gave a brief presentation in opposition to <br /> fluoridation of the city's water. <br /> Alli Larkin, Desmoines; Carol White, Everett; Jeff Coder, Mountlake <br /> Terrace; Naomi Fischer, Everett; Marlene Eckman, Everett; Audrey <br /> Adams, Renton; David John, MD, Mercer Island; Sally John, Mercer <br /> Island; Paul Fraser, Seattle; Steve Mansour, Everett; Tom Dodgson, <br /> Mountlake Terrace; Marcia Boustrand, Everett; and Debra Cummings, <br /> Snohomish, spoke in opposition to the addition of fluoride to the city's <br /> water. <br /> The council meeting recessed for a brief break and reconvened. <br /> Adopt Resolution adopting the Annual Transportation Improvement <br /> Plan (TIP) Update for 2013-2018 <br /> Presented by Richard Tarry, Public Works <br /> John Flowers, Everett, expressed that the proposed Transportation <br /> Improvement Plan is deficient. He urged the council members to request <br /> a "cost per passenger mile" analysis of Light Rail, Sounder Trains and the <br /> Swift Bus program from the Sound Transit Board. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Affholter, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No. 6504 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the city of Everett in the amount of <br /> $1,506,602.80 for the period of May 19, 2012 through May 25, 2012. <br /> 151 <br />
