June 13, 2012 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., June 13, 2012 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> Council President Gipson presiding. <br /> OATH — GIGI BURKE <br /> Council President Gipson announced the swearing in of Gigi Burke to City <br /> Council Position No. 5, which was conducted by Judge Joseph P. Wilson. <br /> Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Moore, Hatloe, Gipson, Burke, and Stonecipher were present. Council <br /> Members Roberts and Affholter were excused. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 6, 2012 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Members Burke, Hatloe and Gipson <br /> abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> MAYOR'S YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS <br /> Mayor Stephanson welcomed those who were present for the 2012 <br /> Mayor's Youth Achievement Awards and introduced Kate Reardon, Public <br /> Information Director, to present the awards. This year's recipients are <br /> Khloe Martinez, Christine Luttrell, Dawit Allen, David Comeaux, Orlando <br /> Valle, Sam Wright and Lavendick Smith. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Stonecipher congratulated the youth achievement award <br /> recipients and their families, and welcomed Council Member Burke. <br /> Council Member Moore welcomed Council Member Burke. <br /> Council Member Hatloe congratulated Council Member Burke. <br /> 154 <br />
