"Commercial" must be added to reflect the commercial section of the table referred to by the footnote. "Figure 5.1" is added to establish the area of the amendment. The last part of the last sentence was removed at the City's request. Since the Development Agreement and Design Standards and Guidelines are not part of the shoreline master program, there is no affect in its removal. Figure 5.1 Added Figure 5.1 (see attachment D) will be a map indicating the North Marina Planned Development Overlay Area similar to what was used during the amendment process. The map will be inserted into the shoreline master program. 4.4 Urban Maritime • Purpose— To provide an area for the intensive development of maritime activities such as marinas, boating, and fishing businesses, and supporting heavy commercial and industrial uses, along with a wide mix of compatible water-oriented commercial and recreational uses, and public access while protecting and restoring ecological functions. Limited nonwater-oriented commercial uses should be allowed when part of a mixed-use development,that incorporates public access and ecological restoration. Under the shoreline environment Urban Maritime, the Vision Statement and Management Policies were amended. Adding the additional language to the Purpose completes the introduction of the nonwater-oriented commercial use to the environmental designation.
