Violation Citation—Order <br /> Notwithstanding any language in this Code, in the event a time period is <br /> established in (1) a violation citation issued by a Code Compliance Officer or the <br /> Building Official, or (2) and order issued by the Violations Hearing Examiner, <br /> said time period shall supersede the time period provided by this Code. <br /> Section 4: This Ordinance shall not be construed nor held to repeal Ordinance No. 2645- <br /> 02 as to any offense committed against such former ordinance or as to any act done, any <br /> penalty, forfeiture or punishment so incurred, or any right accrued or claim arising under <br /> the former ordinance, or in any way what so ever to affect any such offense or act so <br /> committed or so done, or any penalty, forfeiture or punishment so incurred or any right <br /> accrued or claim arising before this ordinance takes effect. <br /> Nothing contained in this section shall be construed as discontinuing, modifying, altering <br /> or abating any action now pending under or by virtue of Ordinance No. 2645-02, or as <br /> discontinuing, abating, modifying or altering any penalty accrued or to accrue, or as <br /> affecting the liability of any person, firm or corporation, or as waiving any right of the <br /> City under Ordinance No. 2645-02 or provision thereof in force at the time of passage of <br /> this ordinance. <br /> Section 5: The City Council hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, <br /> sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance, the Uniform Plumbing Code or the Uniform <br /> Plumbing Standards be declared for any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the City <br /> Council that it would have passed all portions of this ordinance, code and standards <br /> independent of the elimination here from of any such portion as may be declared invalid. <br /> Section 6: Ordinance No. 2645-02 (Chapter 16.04 EMC) and all other ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 7: The City Clerk and the codifiers of this ordinance are authorized to make <br /> necessary corrections to this ordinance including, but not limited to, the correction of <br /> scrivener's/clerical errors, references, ordinance numbering, section/subsection numbers <br /> and any references thereto. <br /> i/ /i <br /> Ray Ste e.nson, ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> i44-&)t) 6/(Clui <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: 6/16/04 <br /> Valid: 6/16/04 <br /> Published: 6/23/04 <br /> Effective: 7/1/04 <br /> DEDI/ORDINANCE/UNIF PLUB CODE 2004 <br />
