Section 6: Section 5 of Chapter 26 of Ordinance No. 295-74 (EMC 5.104.050), which <br /> reads as follows: <br /> Number of go-karts on track. <br /> The license shall limit the number of go-karts permitted on the track at any one time to a <br /> number equal to the number of parking spaces for standard motor vehicles adjacent to <br /> and connected to the licensed premises divided by three. It is unlawful for any licensee to <br /> permit the operation of go-karts on the licensed track in excess of the number for which <br /> the premises is licensed. <br /> Be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Number of go-karts on track. <br /> The license shall limit the number of go-karts permitted on the track at any one time to a <br /> number that is in proportion to the size of the track. It is unlawful for any licensee to <br /> permit the operation of go-karts on the licensed track in excess of the number for which <br /> the premises is licensed. <br /> Section 7: Section 6 of chapter 26 of Ordinance No. 295-74 (EMC 5.104.060), which <br /> reads as follows: <br /> Liability insurance. <br /> Each licensee shall maintain a liability insurance policy with limits of one hundred <br /> thousand dollars for injury to one person and three hundred thousand dollars for injury to <br /> persons arising out of any one accident and five thousand dollars property damage. The <br /> insurance policy shall name the city as an additional insured and shall be approved by the <br /> city attorney prior to issuance of license. The license herein granted shall be terminated at <br /> any time the insurance policy is terminated. <br /> Be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Liability insurance. <br /> Each licensee shall maintain Commercial General Liability insurance with limits no less <br /> than Two Million dollars ($2,000,000) each occurrence. The insurance policy shall be <br /> endorsed to name the City of Everett, its employees and agents, as Additional Insureds. <br /> A Certificate of Insurance with the amendatory endorsement must be provided by the <br /> license applicant and approved by the City prior to issuance of license. The license herein <br /> granted shall be terminated at any time the insurance policy is cancelled or terminated. <br /> Section 8: General duty. <br /> It is expressly the purpose of this ordinance to provide for and promote the health, safety <br /> and welfare of the general public and not to create or otherwise establish or designate any <br /> particular class or group of persons who will or should be especially protected or <br /> benefited by the terms of this ordinance.
