July 18, 2012 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Moore and Hatloe who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ACTION ITEMS: <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO. 1207-24 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE of the city of Everett, Washington, providing <br /> for the condemnation, appropriation, taking and/or damaging <br /> of certain land, property and/or property rights for the repair <br /> and construction of roadway improvements along Lowell- <br /> Larimer Road; and directing the City Attorney to prosecute the <br /> appropriate action and proceedings in the manner provided by <br /> law for said condemnation <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher, seconded by Council Member <br /> Burke, that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill <br /> No. 1207-24. <br /> Council President Gipson entered two letters into the record from citizens <br /> who were unable to attend the meeting, Elaine Wilson and Kay Svob, <br /> encouraging repair of the Lowell-Larimer Road. <br /> Mike Palacios, Real Property, gave an update on the negotiations with the <br /> property owner. <br /> Hugh Henrickson, property owner, stated that the recent information <br /> presented to him by Ryan Sass and Mike Palacios seems hopeful. He <br /> stated that his preference would be to utilize the city's easement by <br /> moving the road to the west. <br /> The City Clerk was directed to call the roll for the final disposition of the <br /> ordinance. <br /> 189 <br />
