ORDINANCE NO. 3126-09 *le AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "West Marine View Drive Roadway Pedestrian/Bicycle Corridor Improvements," Fund 303, Program 082, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to the implementation of safety and accessibility for non-motorized corridor improvements; and WHEREAS, the Port of Everett has received a federal grant to construct non-motorized and intersection improvements on West Marine View Drive; and WHEREAS, the Port of Everett desires to transfer the construction phase of this Project to the City; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 082, and entitled "West Marine View Drive Roadway Pedestrian/Bicycle Corridor Improvements," to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 082, for the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director," under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of$1,900,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 082, "West Marine View Drive Roadway Pedestrian/Bicycle Corridor Improvements," as follows: W03387 Ord
