The Snohomish County Sheriffs Office has received authorization for one dedicated prosecutor, one detective from SCSO, and one detective from Everett PD under this program. The unit is responsible for address and residency verification for Level 2, Level 3, and homeless RSO's throughout Snohomish County and for the completion of cases for referral to the designated prosecutor for Failure to Register incidents. The community will continue to benefit by having this designated team committed to ensuring residency requirements and enhanced prosecution abilities. Everett Police will benefit by relieving patrol officers from the verification duties for Level 2 and 3 sex offenders, which include approximately 93 RSO's. The SCSO will reimburse the City a maximum of$101,028.00.
