EVE TETT ORDINANCE NO. 3166-09 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "Everett Performing Arts Center Downtown Plaza", Fund 354, Program 036, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance No. 3031-07. WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need to make improvements in the vicinity and south of the Everett Performing Arts Center; and WHEREAS, an important component of a vital, livable, and memorable city is well- planned and programmed open space; and WHEREAS, a performing arts center downtown plaza implements the original intent and vision associated with the Everett Performing Arts Center; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 354, Program 036, entitled "Everett Performing Arts Center Downtown Plaza" to accumulate the costs required to make improvements for the project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 354, Program 036, for the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Recreation Director, under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance.
