ORDINANCE NO. 3177-10 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, "West Marine View Drive Non-Motorized Improvements," Fund 303, Program 075, to accumulate all costs for the improvement and repealing Ordinance No. 2914-06. WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned traffic and safety improvement program; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and received funds for non-motorized improvements to West Marine View Drive, between California Street and Alverson Bridge; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 075, entitled "West Marine View Drive Non-Motorized Improvements,"to accumulate all costs for the improvement. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 075, for the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director," under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of$1,430,823.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 075, "West Marine View Drive Non-Motorized Improvements Broadway Bridge Replacement Project," as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Design and Right-of-Way $ 239,000.00 Construction 1,191,823.00 Total Estimated Cost $1,430,823.00
