Test records shall also be retained on the <br /> inspected premises by the building owner. <br /> 510.10.2 The building owner shall notify the SERS System Manager in <br /> writing two weeks in advance of the initial, annual, and five-year tests. <br /> 510.11 Qualifications of testing personnel. Tests shall be conducted, <br /> documented and signed by a person in possession of a current FCC <br /> license, or a current technician certification issued by the Associated <br /> Public-Safety Communications Officials International (APCO), the <br /> Personal Communications Industry Association (PCIA), or a technician <br /> employed by SERS. <br /> 510.12 Field testing. Public safety personnel, after providing reasonable <br /> notice to the building owner or his representative, shall have the right to <br /> enter onto the property to conduct ad-hoc field testing to be certain that <br /> the required level of radio coverage is present. <br /> Section 4. Amendments to the IFC Chapter 9, Fire Protection Systems <br /> A. Subsection 901.1 of the IFC, entitled "Scope," is hereby deleted and the <br /> following inserted in its place: <br /> 901.1 Scope and application. The provisions of this chapter shall apply to <br /> all occupancies and buildings, shall specify where fire protection systems <br /> are required, and shall apply to the design, installation, inspection, <br /> operation, testing, and maintenance of all fire protection systems; <br /> however, nothing contained in this chapter shall diminish or reduce the <br /> requirements of any legally adopted building codes, including state and <br /> local amendments, or other City ordinances, resolutions, or regulations. In <br /> the event of any conflict in requirements among these codes, ordinances, <br /> resolutions, or regulations, the more stringent provision shall apply. <br /> B. Subsection 901.6.1 of the IFC, entitled "Standards," and Table 901.6.1 of <br /> the IFC, entitled "Fire Protection System Maintenance Standards," are hereby <br /> deleted and the following inserted in their place: <br /> 901.6.1 Standards. Fire protection systems shall be inspected, tested, and <br /> maintained in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association <br /> ("NFPA") standards listed in Table 901.6.1 below. <br /> Table 901.6.1 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM <br /> MAINTENANCE STANDARDS <br /> SYSTEM STANDARD <br /> 31 <br />
