13. All codes adopted pursuant to Part 1, Section 2 of this <br /> Ordinance are hereby amended by the addition of the following: <br /> Fees. Regardless of any other language in this code to the contrary, <br /> the fees for activities and services performed under this code will be <br /> set by the building official. <br /> 14. All codes adopted pursuant to Part 1, Section 2 of this <br /> Ordinance are hereby amended by the addition of the following: <br /> Regardless of language to the contrary, the building official shall have <br /> discretion to require compliance with this code in a shorter period of <br /> time than is established by this code. <br /> 15. All codes adopted pursuant to Part 1, Section 2 of this <br /> Ordinance are hereby amended by the addition of the following: <br /> This Code will be administered by the Building Official, who may adopt <br /> rules and regulations consistent with its terms. <br /> 16. All codes adopted pursuant to Part 1, Section 2 of this <br /> Ordinance are hereby amended by the addition of the following: <br /> Other laws. Regardless of language to the contrary, the provisions of <br /> this code shall not be deemed to nullify any provisions of local, state or <br /> federal law, or local regulation or practice. If this code conflicts with a federal, <br /> state or local law, or local regulation or practice such federal, state or local <br /> law, or local regulation or practice shall control. <br /> 17. For the purposes of the IFC, unless context requires otherwise, <br /> any reference to "building official" in this subsection A refers to the "fire code <br /> official." <br /> B. If there is an amendment to a specific title, chapter, section or <br /> subsection of any code adopted in Part 1, Section 2 of this Ordinance, and <br /> such title, chapter, section, or subsection number changes in a subsequent <br /> publication of a code, such change will automatically apply to the <br /> corresponding amendment. <br /> C. One copy of the each code referenced in subsection Part 1, Section 2 <br /> of this Ordinance is on file with the city clerk. <br /> Section 5. Codification <br /> Part 1 of this Ordinance shall be codified as Chapter 16.005 EMC. <br /> 8 <br />
