S. Department of Justice initiative designed to provide a critical resource to
state and local law enforcement. FY 2010 BVP funds became available earlier this year for
purchase of compliant armored vests ordered on or after April 1, 2010. On June 1, 2010 the
Everett Police Department applied for funding to cover the maximum of fifty percent of the cost
of 85 vests. The total cost of the 85 vests is $66,385.27; therefore, the EPD applied for
$33,192.64. That application was approved in full.
Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant 002 3311660031 33,193
Increase Uniform Budget 031 5xx0000260 33,193
ATTACHMENT A
Tally 2010.xlsx 11/17/2010
