The City of Everett and Snohomish County have signed an interlocal agreement creating a multi- jurisdictional approach for verifying addresses of registered sex and kidnapping offenders. The interlocal agreement allows for the City to assign one full-time police detective to work with this group. The city will be reimbursed for the detective position with the state grant monies. This amendment increases the grant revenue budget and authorizes the transfer of funds to the General fund for services rendered by the Police department.
