6. Sales of Animals. <br /> a. The following fees will apply for cats and dogs: <br /> Type of Animal Year 2005 Year 2006 Year 2007 <br /> Adult dog <br /> Less than 25 lbs $125.00 $140.00 $155.00 <br /> Equal to or greater than 25 lbs $100.00 $110.00 $120.00 <br /> Adult cat $ 85.00 $ 90.00 $ 95.00 <br /> Puppy, less than 6 months old $125.00 $140.00 $155.00 <br /> Kitten, less then 6 months old $100.00 $115.00 $130.00 <br /> b. Small livestock; fiften dollars ($15). <br /> 6. Euthanasia Fee. <br /> a. Cats and small animals; less than 25 pounds, twenty five dollars ($25). <br /> b. Large dogs and animals (thirty pounds or more); forty-five dollars ($45). <br /> 7. Intake Fee. <br /> a. The Shelter will only accept animals from outside the City if the City has a <br /> written agreement with the government agency responsible for the <br /> geographic area from which the animal came. The City shall charge an <br /> intake fee for handling animals brought to the Shelter to the government <br /> agency responsible for the geographic area from which the animal came. <br /> The City shall charge the intake fee irrespective of whether the animal was <br /> delivered by an employee of the government agency, a resident of the <br /> geographic area from which the animal came, or anyone else. The intake <br /> fee amount shall be established by resolution. <br /> b. This annual fee shall reflect all costs to operate the Everett Animal Shelter, <br /> calculated over a 12 month period, starting on July 01, and ending June 30, <br /> each year. <br /> 8. Fees imposed under this section include all applicable taxes. <br /> Section 2. Corrections <br /> The City Clerk and the codifiers of this ordinance are authorized to make necessary <br /> corrections to this ordinance including, but not limited to, the correction of scrivener's <br /> and clerical errors, references, ordinance numbering, section/subsection numbers and any <br /> references thereto. <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICE FEES AND AMENDING <br /> ORDINANCES 1810-91, 2394-99, AND 2684-03 (EVERETT MUNICIPAL CODE 6.04.100) <br /> PAGE 3 OF 4 <br />
