September 19, 2012 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., September 19, 2012 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall, Council President Gipson presiding. Upon roll call it was found <br /> that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Gipson, <br /> Burke, and Stonecipher were present. Council Members Hatloe and <br /> Affholter were excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 12, 2012 Everett City Council meeting <br /> were approved as printed. Council Member Stonecipher abstained from <br /> the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Stonecipher apologized for her absence at last week's <br /> city council meeting due to a fender bender on the freeway. <br /> Council Member Burke stated that she attended the Domestic Violence <br /> Services Luncheon. She announced that a new DVS facility will be <br /> opening in Everett soon which will triple the number of clients served. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Deputy City Attorney Hall had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Steven Connelly Jr., Everett, expressed concern regarding the <br /> discrepancy between the level of the city's streets and the sewer grates. <br /> 261 <br />
