September 26, 2012 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., September 26, 2012, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> Everett City Hall, President Gipson presiding. Upon roll call it was found <br /> that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Gipson, <br /> Burke, and Affholter were present. Council Members Hatloe and <br /> Stonecipher were excused. <br /> The city clerk led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 19, 2012, Everett City Council meeting <br /> were approved as printed. Council Member Affholter abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson congratulated President Gipson who will be inducted <br /> into the Snohomish County Sports Hall of Fame, Class of 2012, on <br /> September 26, 2012. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts and Moore commented on the Sound Transit <br /> bus stop located at 38th and Broadway which was closed as a result of <br /> commuter parking issues. <br /> Mayor Stephanson thanked Sound Transit for supporting the city's <br /> request to close this bus stop. <br /> Council Members Moore, Affholter, and Burke congratulated President <br /> Gipson on his induction into the Snohomish County Hall of Fame. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The city attorney had no comments. <br /> 269 <br />
