significance of the area, but expressing a preference for the name "Hibulb Lookout" <br /> which is more consistent with historic use of the bluff as a"lookout for warring Tribes <br /> coming from as far away as Canada and a place to signal and warn the smaller villages <br /> across the water along the shores of the present day Tulalip Reservation, Camano, Hat <br /> Island and Whidbey Island," and <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing on the proposed name was held before Historical <br /> Commission on October 28, 2014, and Historical Commission recommended that City <br /> Council name the bluff"Hibulb Lookout;" <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1. The Everett City Council concurs with the Everett Historical Commission's <br /> recommendation to name the bluff northwest of American Legion Memorial Park <br /> "Hibulb Lookout;" and <br /> 2.
