Is hereby amended to read as follows: Effective January 1, 2016, and thereafter, service charges for City of Everett surface water management services are hereby assessed on all utility customers in Everett not being billed for sewer service as follows: A. Single family residence: $ 17.44 per month (The monthly charge includes the current state utility tax.) B. For other than single family residence (multiple family residence, commercial, and industrial users, etc.). The rate shall be computed in accordance with the following formula: Surface water service charge per month=Metered water usage x 17.44 900 cu.ft. (The monthly charge includes the current state utility tax.) The minimum monthly charge regardless of usage shall be $17.44per month. Section 5: EMC 14.16.650 (Ord. 1237-86 § 65, 1986), which reads as follows: 14.16.650 Bimonthly charges—Dates due and payable. A. All water accounts shall be sent a statement of charges on a bimonthly basis. B. All water accounts served on a fixed rate basis shall be due and payable in advance, not later than the fifteenth day after the date shown on the bimonthly statement, and, if not paid within such time, shall be considered delinquent. A refund or credit will be given by the utilities division on fixed rate charges paid in advance in the event of a vacancy; provided, that notice in writing shall have been submitted to the utility billing division at the time such vacancy occurred. No such refund nor credit shall be given if the notice is not submitted as required. C. All metered water accounts shall be due and payable not later than the fifteenth day after the date shown on the bimonthly statement, and if not paid within such time, shall be considered delinquent. is hereby replaced with the following effective July 1,2015: 14.16.650 Monthly Charges–Dates due and payable A.
