November 21, 2012 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., November 21, 2012, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> Everett City Hall, President Gipson presiding. Upon roll call it was found <br /> that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Hatloe, Moore, <br /> Gipson, Burke, Stonecipher, and Affholter were present. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 14, 2012, Everett City Council meeting <br /> were approved as printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving. The Mayor <br /> thanked Council Member Burke for her service on the city council and <br /> commented on the outstanding job she has done. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Members echoed wishes for a happy Thanksgiving. Council <br /> members also thanked Council Member Burke for serving on city council <br /> and expressed appreciation for her exceptional contributions. <br /> Council Member Burke thanked fellow council members for selecting her <br /> to serve on the city council and commented that the experience had been <br /> remarkable. She expressed her appreciation to city staff for their <br /> willingness to assist. <br /> Council President Gipson delivered a public outreach statement regarding <br /> the James J. Hill Park and requested his statement and the document <br /> "Request for the Use of the De Minimis (40 Exemption" be entered as a <br /> public record. <br /> Council President Gipson thanked Council Administrator Deb Williams for <br /> assisting with Thanksgiving activities at the women's shelter last evening. <br /> 321 <br />
