POBL/C iYORKS <br />May 13, 2015 <br />THERESA A GEMMER <br />5718 E LAKE BOSWORTH RD <br />SNOHOMISH, WA 98290 <br />Building Address: 2008 HOYT AVE <br />Record Number: W1504-005 <br />RE: Building Permit Application required <br />Dear Ms. Gemmer, <br />We have received your request to add a separate unit address to 2008 HOYT AVE, currently <br />addressed as a single family residence in accordance with Everett Municipal Code chapter 13.44, on <br />the following described parcel number: EVERETT DIV B PLAT OF BLK 426 D-00 - LOTS 28 & 29, <br />parcel number 00437042602800. <br />A building permit will be required to establish a duplex on the lot. Should you decide to remove the <br />second living unit, a building permit is also required. Please submit the permit application and <br />drawings within the next 90 days, no later than August 19th. <br />The following departments can assist you to identify requirements. The Planning Department should <br />be contacted first. <br />• Felicia Medlen, or the Planner on counter duty, can explain the duplex standards that apply to <br />this property and school mitigation fees. Felicia can be reached at 425-257-7275. <br />• Jeff Heilman, Building Plan Review, can discuss the requirements for adding a unit to the <br />building per the 2012 International Residential Code. Jeff can be reached at 425-257-8976. <br />o The Assessor history notes significant work was done in 1987, at which time only <br />electrical permits were applied for and inspected by the City of Everett. <br />• Michael Brick, Traffic Engineering, can identify if traffic mitigation fees apply, and can be <br />reached at 425-257-7790. <br />• Benyam Stephanos, Public Works Plan Review, can assist you to determine if a Public Works <br />permit is required for parking and storm water management. Systems development fees will <br />apply.
