December 5, 2012 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., December 5, 2012, in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall, President Gipson presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, <br /> and Affholter were present. Council Members Moore and Hatloe were <br /> excused. <br /> Christina Wiersma, Legal Department, led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 28, 2012, Everett City Council meeting <br /> were approved as printed. Council Members Roberts and Gipson <br /> abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> The Mayor had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Stonecipher thanked Mayor Stephanson for the invitation <br /> to the upcoming Boards and Commissions reception next week, but <br /> stated she would be unavailable to attend the event this year. <br /> Council Member Roberts and Gipson reported on their attendance at the <br /> National League of Cities conference in Boston, Massachusetts, last <br /> week. Because the council members were not in attendance at last <br /> week's meeting, they welcomed newest Council Member Bader to the City <br /> Council. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The City Attorney had no comments. <br /> 336 <br />
