December 19, 2012 <br /> BID AWARD — BRT SIGNAL PRIORITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Affholter, to award the contract bid for the SR99/Evergreen Way BRT <br /> Signal Priority Improvements (Rucker and Pacific) Project to Sail <br /> Electric, Inc. in the amount of $1,086,302.00 including Washington <br /> State sales tax. <br /> Council Member Bader asked if only Swift would be able to take <br /> advantage of the improvements or will the system be available to Everett <br /> Transit as well? Ryan Sass, Public Works, stated that initially it would be <br /> available primarily to Swift; however, the system would be available to <br /> Everett Transit in the future. Council Member Roberts expressed the <br /> importance of these improvements. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Gipson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT AMENDED — CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES <br /> Moved by Council Member Hatloe, seconded by Council Member <br /> Bader, to authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the <br /> Professional Services Agreement with Gray & Osborne, Inc. for <br /> extending the completion date for construction support services at <br /> no additional cost. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Gipson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 368 <br />
