3.78.150 of this chapter, where urban residents may obtain a variety of products and services
<br /> including, but not limited to, shops, offices, banks, restaurants, governmental agencies,
<br /> transit service, and a mixture of uses and activities that may include housing, recreation,
<br /> cultural activities, commercial or office uses.
<br /> Section 2. Section 15 of Ordinance No. 2347-98, as amended (EMC 3.78.150) is amended by
<br /> the addition of the following, which shall be codified as EMC 3.78.150.C:
<br /> C. Urban Center,North Broadway. The area to be declared the North Broadway Urban Center
<br /> of the City of Everett is the area depicted on Exhibit C, a copy of which is attached to the
<br /> ordinance codified in this chapter, which comprises portions of Sections 8 and 17 of T.29N, R.
<br /> 5E, W.M., situated in the city of Everett, Washington, and which is legally described as follows:
<br /> North Broadway Multi-Family Property Tax-Exemption Area—Legal Descriptions
<br /> Commencing at the intersection of the centerlines of Lombard Avenue and 13th Street,
<br /> THENCE east along the centerline of 13th Street to its intersection with the southerly
<br /> projection of the centerline of the alley located in Block 239, Broadway Land Company's
<br /> First Addition, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 8 of Plats, Page 4, records of
<br /> Snohomish County, Washington, which is the true POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE
<br /> north along said centerline of said alley and its northerly projection to its intersection with
<br /> the north line of Block 218, Powers First Addition, according to the plat thereof recorded in
<br /> Volume 8 of Plats, Page 8, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence west along

<br /> Plats, Page 1, records of Snohomish County, Washington; THENCE north along the said
<br /> west line of Radio Addition to the NW corner of said plat; THENCE east along the north line
<br /> of Radio Addition and its east projection to the SE corner of Lot 54, Legion Park Addition to
<br /> Everett, Division 2, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 12, Page 4, records of
<br /> Snohomish County, Washington; THENCE north along the east line of said Lot 54 a distance
