ORDINANCE NO, 3251-11 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, "36th Street/BNSF Rail Line Non-Motorized Improvements", Fund 303, Program 078,to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance No. 2972-07. WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned traffic and safety improvement program; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and received funds for non-motorized improvements to 36th Street at the BNSF Rail Line crossing; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 078, entitled "36th Street/BNSF Rail Line Non-Motorized Improvements", to accumulate all costs for the improvement and repealing Ordinance No. 2972-07. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 078, for the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director or City Engineer," under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of$701,552.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 078, "36th Street/BNSF Rail Line Non-Motorized Improvements", as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Design& Right-of-Way $ 701,552.00 Total Estimated Cost $ 701,552.00
