2005 <br /> Budget Adjustments <br /> Tally Sheet <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-10 General Fund Amendment-Emergency Mngmt Perform Grant 002A 40,426 <br /> GGA-10 Fire Amendment-Emergency Mngmt Perform Grant 032A 40,426 <br /> The Washington State Military Dept. has been given the authority by the Department of Homeland <br /> Security(DHS) to administer Federal dollars in providing DHS Emergency Management <br /> Performance Grant(EMPG) funds to local jurisdictions that have emergency management <br /> programs. These grants are intended to supplement the local jurisdiction's emergency <br /> management operating budget in an effort to enhance their emergency management program. <br /> The City's EMPG grant award is $40,426 with the requirement of a local match already satisfied by <br /> our emergency management operating budget. Grant funds would be used to reimburse part of the <br /> $12,000 expended in a contract with the University of Washington for development of a draft <br /> mitigation plan in 2004.
