2005 Budget Adjustments Tally Sheet Department Code Rev Exp FB GGA-18 Special Projects Amendment-Domestic Violence Grant Money 115A 37,052 I 37,052 This is a re-appropriation of unspent grant money ($37,052.04) to the 2005 operating budget for Domestic Violence to be used primarily for salaries and benefits. This 80% grant-funded program was scheduled to terminate August 31, 2005. An extension, with no additional grant money, was approved to mid/late December 2005. (This is when the grant funds will have been exhausted.) The City has applied for a 24-month continuation grant with funding at 72% for salaries and benefits. Notification of awards is scheduled for late summer or early fall 2005. This 100% grant-funded program was scheduled to terminate February 28, 2005. An extension, with no additional grant money, was approved to September 30, 2005. Another time extension will be requested to continue the program to mid/late December 2005. (This is when the grant funds will have been exhausted.) There are no further grants available for Community Prosecution. The attorney position in this grant-funded program will be transferred into Fund 003, Legal Department, beginning 2006.
