January 30, 2013 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., January 30, 2013, in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall, President Moore presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Moore, Murphy, Gipson, Bader, <br /> Stonecipher, and Affholter were present. Council Member Roberts was <br /> excused. <br /> President Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 23, 2013, Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Stonecipher abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> The Mayor had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Gipson asked the council members to focus 2013 <br /> discussions on south Everett and suggested the possibility of conducting <br /> a feasibility study for this area. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher encouraged the public to get a flu <br /> vaccination. <br /> Council Member Murphy commented on his recent visit to an Everett High <br /> School environmental studies class, which resulted in a good exchange <br /> with students regarding the Central Waterfront Subarea Plan. <br /> President Moore requested a brief city council meeting agenda for <br /> February 13, 2013, to allow extra time for individuals to attend the U. S. <br /> Navy Band concert to be held at the Civic Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. <br /> In concurrence with Council Member Gipson's comments regarding a <br /> focus on south Everett, President Moore suggested a future city council <br /> 31 <br />
