February 27, 2013 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., February 27, 2013, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> Everett City Hall, President Moore presiding. Upon roll call it was found <br /> that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, <br /> Gipson, Bader, and Affholter were present. Council Member Stonecipher <br /> was excused. <br /> Council Member Murphy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the February 20, 2013, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> The Mayor had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts welcomed Joni Earl and Patrice Hardy from <br /> Sound Transit. <br /> Council Member Bader commented that he and Government Affairs <br /> Director Pat McClain travelled today to Olympia to meet with legislators <br /> about capital money for Jackson Park. <br /> Council Member Gipson commented that the deadline for the demolition <br /> of the burned McCrossen building on Hewitt is March 15, 2013. He also <br /> requested a budget update from the Public Facilities District. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session following the meeting <br /> concerning two litigation matters pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i). The <br /> session was anticipated to last 20 minutes with no announcement to <br /> follow. <br /> 54 <br />
