The current <br /> lift is approximately 40 years old.The combination of a fixed cylinder being in the ground (with <br /> no secondary containment vault and subject to corrosion and electrolysis) and the lack of lift <br /> locks makes for potential ecological and safety issues. The project is anticipated to be completed <br /> by the end of the year.
