It is unlawful in any manner to feed any fowl, farm animals or wildlife, except at areas <br /> designated by the parks and recreation director for such purposes. Violation of any of the <br /> provisions of this section constitutes an infraction, and may be punished by a penalty of not more <br /> than two hundred fifty dollars. <br /> Section 14: Section 10 of Ordinance 3471 (EMC 9.06.090), which reads as follows: <br /> Soliciting. <br /> It is unlawful to take up collections, or to act as, or ply the vocation of solicitor, agent,peddler, <br /> fakir, mendicant, beggar, strolling musician, organ grinder, exhorter, barker, showman or <br /> bootblack; or to operate or use any loudspeaker without a written permit in any park. <br /> Is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Business activity in parks. <br /> A. Except with the prior written approval of the parks and recreation director, it is unlawful <br /> to conduct any type of business activity in any park. <br /> B. As used in this section, "business activity" shall include, but not be limited to, the <br /> following: <br /> 1. Sale, display for sale, or taking or attempting to take orders for the sale of food, <br /> edible, beverage, liquid, merchandise, or any other tangible or intangible thing, <br /> right, privilege or claim; <br /> 2. Providing classes or other forms of instruction for a fee or other valuable <br /> consideration; <br /> 3. Use of park facilities for advertising any business,product, or service; <br /> 4. Soliciting contributions for commercial ventures; or <br /> 5. Seeking opinions,preferences, or other information for commercial purposes. <br /> Section 15: Section 11 of Ordinance 3471, as amended by Section 18 of Ordinance 2442-00 <br /> (EMC 9.06.100), which reads as follows: <br /> Selling refreshments or merchandise. <br /> It is unlawful to sell refreshments or merchandise, or to distribute literature in any park, without <br /> the permission of the parks director, or a concession contract with the city. Violation of any of <br /> the provisions of this section constitutes an infraction, and may be punished by a penalty of not <br /> more than two hundred fifty dollars. <br /> Is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 16: Section 5 of Ordinance 889-82 and Section 1 of Resolution 4057 (EMC 9.06.116), <br /> which reads as follows: <br /> 10 <br />
