Attachment One, page 2 of 4
INTER sitpt A 16
f _ I r v'''•"` DBE/WBE#DW2F7218670&SCS#916
,e ,w•:,I °`E TACOMA SBE
r
August 2, 2016
Dear Arlston Pacific—Daniel Rojas,
Silver Streak is a small DBE contractor with limited trucking resources. When Silver
Streak quotes DBE trucking for projects, it does so without the benefit of an agreed
schedule. Your project was quoted without an agreed schedule as when the trucking
would be required for your job. Silver Streak has numerous projects in the Puget Sound
area under contract and this happens to be an extremely busy summer for
construction. The various jobs, on which Silver Streak is providing trucking, change
their requirements for trucking resources daily, sometimes even hourly. While Silver
Streak is doing its best to juggle its resources among the various jobs and ever
changing requirements, there are certain instances where we may not be able to
provide all of the trucking resources demanded for your project. Therefore, you may not
be able to meet your utilizing DBE commitment utilizing Silver Streak alone. We intend
to continue to make our best efforts to supply trucking resources when requested,
however, due to our limited resources and overwhelming demand for trucks we urge
you to explore other sources of DBE commitment to ensure the goals of your project are
met.
Sin rely,
j
„„
rTienson
President
Silver Streak, Inc.
23700 SE 264th Street
Maple Valley, WA 98038
425-432-5000
23700 SOUTTIr+AST 264TH STREET • MAPLE VALLEY,WASHINGTON 98038 • 425-432-5000 • FAX:425-432-5515
1
t
3
1
