1. The Downtown Streetscape Plan is hereby adopted to serve as a guide for the <br /> design of streetscape improvement projects by the City and by private property <br /> owners; <br /> 2. The City shall use the Downtown Streetscape Plan as a guide for the type and <br /> quality of streetscape improvements required for redevelopment projects in the <br /> B-3 zone; <br /> 3. The City shall pursue grant funding opportunities as may be available for the <br /> implementation of downtown streetscape improvements consistent with the <br /> Downtown Streetscape Plan; <br /> 4. The City shall explore the potential for public-private partnerships with <br /> downtown property owners to develop streetscape improvement projects <br /> consistent with the Downtown Streetscape Plan; and <br /> 5. In the event of a conflict between the Downtown Streetscape Plan and any other <br /> standards or guidelines, the standards of the Downtown Streetscape Plan will <br /> prevail; and <br /> 6. The Planning Director is authorized, in consultation with the City Engineer, to <br /> promulgate additional streetscape design details and examples consistent with the <br /> intent of the Downtown Streetscape Plan as a guide for streetscape improvements <br /> within Everett's downtown. <br /> V7(0. <br /> / Aor <br /> -) <br /> 1/14/09 <br /> Councilmember Introducing Resolution Date <br /> City Council President <br />
