INTRODUCTION <br /> Background Information <br /> The following section is largely excerpted from the July 2006 Everett Downtown Plan and is <br /> included here to provide ready information useful in planning and designing streetscape <br /> improvements. <br /> Street Configuration <br /> Broadway, Rucker, West Marine View Drive, Everett, and Pacific - <br /> Avenues are designed to carry large volumes of traffic, and they Legend <br /> are designated as Major Arterials. Most of these streets are also <br /> designated as truck routes to and through downtown. Arterial Classification <br /> Freeway <br /> Hewitt, Hoyt, Colby, and Wetmore are designed to collect and <br /> distribute traffic from the Major Arterials throughout downtown, Major Arterial <br /> and they are designated as Collector Arterials.
