RESOLUTION NO. 6 ail. <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a sole source purchase <br /> of Support and Maintenance for Bioxide from Siemens Water Technologies. <br /> WHEREAS, the City has chosen and used Bioxide for lift station odor control since 2002; and <br /> WHEREAS, Siemens Water Technologies holds a patent for the formulation and manufacture of <br /> Bioxide; and <br /> WHEREAS, a similar product is not available from another manufacturer; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of supplying <br /> Bioxide; the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements and authorizes the purchase of <br /> Bioxide from Siemens Water Technologies. <br /> CouJ person � t educing esolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 18-1" day of Marck , 2009. <br /> Council President <br />
