,:/Scam <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 6136 <br /> A Resolution Placing the <br /> Cleaver Clough House <br /> 2031 Grand Avenue <br /> on the <br /> Everett Register of Historic Places <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted Ordinance 1355-87 (amended 1956-93) <br /> authorizing the Everett Historical Commission to consider the merits of properties for <br /> placement on the Everett Register of Historic Places and to recommend to City Council <br /> that properties be placed on the Everett Register; and <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of the Cleaver Clough House at 2031 Grand Avenue, Craig and <br /> Carolyn Parker, requested the Everett Historical Commission to consider the house for <br /> inclusion on the Everett Register of Historic Places; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Historical Commission reviewed the request at a public hearing <br /> and determined that the Cleaver Clough House, built in 1907, is at least 50 years old, has <br /> integrity, and meets the following criteria for inclusion on the Everett Register: <br /> • Embodies distinctive architectural characteristics of a type,period and style of <br /> construction; and <br /> • Is associated with the lives of persons significant to local history; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1. The Everett City Council concurs with the recommendation of the Everett <br /> Historical Commission to place the Cleaver Clough House on the Everett Register <br /> of Historical Places. <br />
