OPos .:01 RESOLUTION NO 6089 A RESOLUTION concerning HOME and 2060 Housing Trust agreements for the Artspace Project, and amending Resolution No. 6003 WHEREAS, the City Council recognized the need for certain housing and community development programs in Everett; and WHEREAS, through Interlocal agreements, the City of Everett receives HOME funds and 2060 Housing Trust funds passed through from Snohomish County; and WHEREAS, the City Council awarded HOME funds and 2060 Housing Trust funds to the Everett Housing Authority and Washington Home of Your Own, and HOME funds to the Artspace project; and WHEREAS, it is in the City's interest to exchange originally allocated 2060 Housing Trust funding from Everett Housing Authority ($109,964.30) and Washington Home of Your Own ($59,555.87) for originally allocated 2007 HOME funds from Artspace; and WHEREAS, this allocation change will allow Snohomish County to contribute HOME funds to the Artspace project; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT THAT: 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the HOME Agreement between Snohomish County and the City of Everett for the Artspace project. 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the HOME Agreement between the City of Everett and Artspace for the Artspace project. 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the 2060 Housing Trust Fund Agreement between the City of Everett and Artspace for the Artspace project. 4. The following funds are hereby reallocated, and Resolution No. 6003 is hereby amended to authorize the reallocation as provided below, and the Mayor is authorized to execute such agreements with Snohomish County or others as may be necessary to cause such reallocations to occur: A. $169,520.17 in 2060 Housing Trust funds to the Artspace project.
