I <br /> eP#./%cam <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 6001 <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a sole source purchase of <br /> Power Pole and Electrical Service Installation from Snohomish County PUD. <br /> WHEREAS, Engineering/Public Services requires the installation of one 75-foot transmission <br /> pole and seven distribution poles to support the Riverfront Development project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Snohomish County PUD is the only available source for the installation and <br /> provision of this regulated service in Snohomish County. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of installing <br /> electrical transmission and distribution poles, the City hereby waives competitive bidding <br /> requirements and authorizes the purchase and installation of these poles from Snohomish County <br /> PUD. <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 26th day of March , 2008. <br /> Council Presid nt <br />
