,PAm <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 6009 -sa,y a <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a sole source purchase of <br /> an Enterprise License from ESRI, Inc. <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Public Works Department uses numerous GIS software products to <br /> support its operations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has established a standard for GIS software produced by ESRI, Inc. (ESRI); <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, software offered by other manufacturers is not compatible with current City <br /> software and systems; and <br /> WHEREAS, ESRI offers this software under an Enterprise Licensing agreement which is only <br /> available directly from ESRI. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of supplying an <br /> Enterprise License for ESRI Software, the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements <br /> and authorizes the purchase of an Enterprise License from ESRI, Inc. <br /> ,p>/e,44e <br /> Councilperson troducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 16th day of Apv i 1 , 2008 <br /> ,j1--e/(/ z <br /> Counci -sident <br />
